These Australian Opal and 14k gold earrings are truly exquisite. They were the first of my fine jewelry pieces and I am very thankful to make them again and again. 
 
The Opals are carefully placed in a bezel setting, accompanied by 1.5" of 14k gold rolo chain - the chain is finished with a jump ring. You have the option to loop around the back of the earring or hang it up the side to a second or third ear piercing. These earrings feature screw back posts - I did this because the settings are fragile and I prefer extra precaution against falls/breakage.
